ArkStorm

Arkstorms are the most deadliest of all tropical storms. Yet they only occur once every 500 to 800 years, and are defined by scientists as, "A river of atmospheric condensation" and spread out hundreds of miles wide in the direction of the massive vortex in the center. What makes them so devastating is the vortex reaches up so high, they actually penetrate the outer atmosphere, and expose the earth to the vacuum of space. Then physics takes over, and the vacuum of space pulls everything that has matter toward the vacuum, and everything not bolted to the surface of the earth gets pulled up through it while the outer spreading walls destroy traveling at 300 to 400 MPH then the debris left behind it flies off the earth along with everything not nailed to the ground at 65,000 MPH.
Entire cities, towns and any life are completely gone, with only sand remaining. That is unless you have what only one brave person has, yet chases him throughout this story as he strives to escape the outer destructive walls reaching down from the skies to take the only thing he has left. His life, and one machine.
