Description
This course will teach the student the fundamentals of the C++ programming languages. Students can take what they learn here to easily learn the fundamentals of other programming languages or they can take this knowledge into more intermediate courses. The course will begin with an orientation of what the course offers and then it will teach you the following below:- How to setup your Development Environment- How to write your first C++ program- Learn about main()- Variables and consonants and the differences between them both- Basic Input and Output- Order of Operations- Learn how to write Loops and the different types of Loops- Having your program make decisions- How to create functions- Using Arrays and Strings- Primer on Pointers and how to use them- Primer on Object Oriented ProgrammingThe course assumes you have no prior programming knowledge and will walk you through how to create some simple applications to get you used to programming in C++. It is recommended that you take the knowledge learned from each lecture to create your own custom applications which will amplify learning. Throughout the course I will encourage you to try to figure out problems on your own and if you have trouble then you can follow along with the video. I also recommend that you don't just watch the videos but follow along since this is the best way (in my opinion) to learn a programming language.
