DescriptionI have over 7 years of experience teaching securities, including the Series 65 exam. I have helped hundreds of people pass the exam. This course is a copy of my lectures, with the additional resources I have created, organized by related lecture. This allows students who need extra help on a topic to see some additional ways of looking at it. I have animations, written posts, and graphic images that help explain the concepts. I am always interested in ideas for more that would benefit students!I am a firm believer in my classes doing 2 things;1. They teach 85-90% of the material you are most likely to see. Why not 100%? That last 10-15% could be from 500-1000 different itty bitty little topics. It isn't worth the many hours it would take to study all 100%. Plus, as you practice, you'll pick up some of that last 10-15%. 70% is passing, why go for 100%? and 2. My job is to get you to pass a dumb test. All of the tests are dumb. They are not aptitude tests, career predictors, they are not intelligence tests, or success meters. They are a dumb hoop you have to jump through in order to do the career you want to do. Don't get me wrong, they are extremely important, as we don't want people dealing with these things that haven't been tested, but these are generalist exams. Any specific methods, procedures, etc will be taught by your company. My job is not to teach you how to grow a massive business or anything like that; My job, is to get you to pass a dumb test, so you can then go learn from your companies how to grow a massive business. If you are looking for a class on how to trade securities, how to manage a successful brokerage or advisory accounts, for yourself or clients, this is not the class for you. This is to get you to pass the Series 65 exam. Nothing more :)
