Description Ruby is a dynamic, open-source programming language with a focus on simplicity and productivity. It is one of the easiest programming languages to begin programming with. Throughout the span of this course, we will learn the fundamentals of Ruby 3 ( the latest and greatest version of Ruby) and build several exciting applications! We will first cover the various Data Types in Ruby and explore different methods using them. Simultaneously, we will also explore the Interactive Ruby Console and learn how to use it.From there we would learn how to create our own custom methods and Classes. We will briefly touch on Object Oriented Programming Principles. We will next learn how to create, read, append and delete files and folders all with the power of Ruby.Next, we will explore Ruby Gems (Ruby code written by other people) to add more functionality to our Ruby Programmes. We will also write several useful programmes as we learn Ruby throughout this course. We will create a Simple Calculator Application that will allow us to add, multiply, subtract and divide two numbers. Next, we will also create a programme that will automatically sort our files into different folders. It would sort video files into a Video folder and audio files into an Audio Folder. Finally, we will create a programme that will manipulate and convert videos for us into our desired formats.
