One of the advantages of finding out you have terminal cancer is that you get to plan your own funeral. You can also ask people to follow your final requests, and they can't argue with you.
My illness was a slow boil, but bad news travels fast and gradually they found me: The Cosmo Clubbers. During their various hospital visits and calls, it soon became apparent that all their lives were completely screwed up. I was always the prankster of the group, and having listened to their tales of messy divorces to drastic business failures, I decided it was time to pull my biggest and final prank: my last wishes.
It was time to revive The Cosmo Club and resurrect the promise we all made over twenty-five years ago; to surrender control of our lives to astrology—to let horoscopes dictate our life choices no matter what. And I was going to give them an incentive they couldn't refuse.
